Why so many dresses?

I was raised by my grandparents Tilford and Ruby Sasser. My grandmother was a seamstress for Sears drape factory before I came along and she made my clothes. Sometimes she had a pattern and sometimes she made her own pattern but she was the best in my book. When I say she made my clothes she even made my cotton underwear. Grandmother was strict about somethings and one of those were I did not go to school or church wearing jeans it had to be my dresses. They were beautiful! Everything grandmother touched was like magic because it turned to gold. She planted a garden and not only did she feed her family but she fed the neighbors. Every school year I watched my grandmother work hours making mine and my sisters dresses just to get us ready for the year. I was not fond of school but knowing I was going to get new dresses made it worth getting excited for. I remember when she made my winter coat with fur on the hood.  They were in style that year and it was suede and fake fur, but it was beautiful. Today I still love my dresses and I make sure we have plenty of them here at KevRow5760.
